Frequently Asked Questions

Should I memorise the model answers?
No — memorised answers sound robotic and fall apart if you are interrupted or asked a follow-up. Instead, memorise the structure and your key stories. Know your STAR bullet points, then deliver them naturally. Practise until the format is automatic, not the exact words. The model answers show you what a strong answer looks like — use them as a benchmark, not a script.
How many questions should I prepare for a real interview?
Prepare 15–20 questions in total: 5–6 behavioural with real STAR stories, 5–6 role-specific technical or situational, 3–4 culture and values questions, and 3–5 smart questions to ask the interviewer. Quality over quantity — a well-prepared answer to 15 questions beats rushed answers to 30. Use the tool multiple times with different focus types to build up a complete set.
What if I do not know the answer to a question?
Be honest and think out loud. "That is a great question — let me think through that for a moment" is perfectly acceptable. Walk through your reasoning even if you are unsure of the destination.
